Choose by type and size first, and by yard second. In the Mediterranean a crewed catamaran of 55 to 70 feet costs about €27,000 to €48,000 a week in high season, a motor yacht of 80 to 100 feet about €52,500 to €70,000, and a superyacht of 130 to 165 feet about €160,000 to €210,000.
Those are typical weeks across the yachts in our charter system, before APA and VAT. Each builder guide below has the full range by size and links to the destinations where we charter that yard.
Which yacht builder should you choose?
Start from your group and your week:
- A family or friends on a budget: a Lagoon, Bali or Leopard catamaran.
- More space and finish on two hulls: Fountaine Pajot or Sunreef.
- Speed to cover more islands: Sunseeker, Riva or Pershing.
- Flybridge comfort at 80 to 100 feet: Princess, Azimut or Ferretti.
- A semi-custom yacht of 100 to 130 feet: Sanlorenzo.
- A superyacht for 10 to 12 guests: Benetti, Heesen or CRN, and Feadship or Lürssen for the largest.
- The Bahamas and the US East Coast: Westport and Horizon tri-decks and flybridge yachts.

Typical high-season weekly rates at each yard’s most chartered size, from the yachts built 2000 or later in our charter system, October 2026. Mediterranean yachts are priced in euros and Caribbean yachts in dollars.
The APA for running costs, usually 20 to 30% on a catamaran and 30 to 40% on a motor yacht, plus VAT or charter tax and the crew gratuity, come on top.
Catamaran or motor yacht: does the builder matter more?
No. The choice between a catamaran and a motor yacht, and then the size, changes the week far more than the badge. At the same length, the age, refit and crew of a yacht matter more than the yard that built it.
That is why every builder guide below ends with yachts our team has been aboard, and why we shortlist by crew as much as by yard.

Among catamarans, Lagoon: we list more Lagoons than any other yard. Among motor yachts, Azimut.
