Azimut is an Italian yacht builder, founded in 1969 by Paolo Vitelli, who began by chartering sailboats. In 1970 it took on distribution of Amerglass boats in Italy, and by 1982 it had launched the Azimut 105′ Failaka. In 1985 it acquired the Benetti yard, and today the Azimut Benetti group builds motor yachts from 9 to 110 metres in six shipyards, including Avigliana, Savona and Fano.
This page counts down the 10 biggest Azimut yachts on our list, then shows 20 more below. The countdown runs from #10, the smallest of the ten, up to #1, the biggest, ranked by the length on each yacht’s listing. Where boats share a length, the newer one ranks higher: RYLAX, TAIL LIGHTS and VIVERE are all 116 feet, LOVE T ranks above PURA VIDA at 114.83 feet, and Alegria ranks above PENJA and INSIEME at 105 feet. Every length, guest count and rate below comes from the yacht’s current listing, and every rate is the weekly charter fee before running expenses. For every Azimut on our list with rates, see our Azimut charter rate list.
