Heesen is a Dutch yard, and we list 14 of its motor yachts for charter. This page ranks the 10 biggest, from 134 to 180 feet (41 to 55 metres). The count runs from #10, the smallest of the ten, up to #1, the biggest, by the length on each yacht’s listing. Euro-priced yachts start from €84,000 per week; the two priced in dollars start from $320,000 per week (SOUTH) and $430,000 per week (SOLEMATES).

Heesen in brief
Frans Heesen founded the yard in 1978 in Oss, in the Netherlands, and it has launched more than 200 yachts since. It is counted among the world leaders in all-aluminium yachts and builds in steel as well. Three notable Heesens that are not in our charter inventory: the 65 metre Galactica Star (2013), the first on its Fast Displacement Hull Form, the 50 metre hybrid Home (2017), and the 80 metre Genesis (2023), its largest.
Most of the ten were built between 1993 and 2012 and refitted since, with SOLEMATES (2025) the exception. They run from 41 to 55 metres, most take up to 12 guests, and most cruise at 13 to 16 knots, from SOUTH at 12 up to HEESEN at 17 to 19.

BENIK is a 134.5 foot (41 m) Heesen built in 2002 and refitted in 2024, based in Athens and chartering in Greece. She has 7 cabins for 12 guests, with a beach club and a deck Jacuzzi. The toy list runs to 4 Seabobs, a Sea-Doo Spark jet ski, a flyboard, a Wake Jet Board and a 19 foot Castoldi jet tender. Stabilisers work at anchor and underway. The yacht named HEESEN is a Heesen listed at 141 feet, built in 1998 and refitted in 2019, chartering in Greece. YAMI is a 146 foot Heesen built in 2003 and refitted in 2026. She takes 12 guests in 5 cabins and cruises the Ionian and the Cyclades, plus Albania, Turkey and Cyprus. Her tenders are what stand out: an Axopar 37 chase boat with twin 300 hp engines, a 7.2 metre RIB and a Williams jet tender. “The Longest, Built in 2025”
SOLEMATES is the biggest Heesen we list: 180.4 feet (55 m), built in 2025. She is 0.4 feet longer than SOUTH on the listed lengths, which is why she ranks first. SOLEMATES takes 12 guests in 6 cabins and her listing gives summer cruising areas in the Mediterranean (Malta, the Balearics, the Riviera, Corsica and Italy) and winter areas in the Leeward Islands and the BVI. She carries a 7.2 metre X-Craft Beachlander tender, 2 jet skis, 2 Seabob F9S, an e-foil and a sea pool. Rates run from $430,000 to $450,000 per week, plus APA.

What a Heesen charter costs
Among the ten ranked here, the euro-priced yachts start from €84,000 per week and the dollar-priced ones reach $450,000 per week (SOLEMATES). Most of the Greek and western Mediterranean boats price from €110,000 per week up to €235,000 per week. All ten charter on plus-expenses terms: on top of the rate you pay an advance provisioning allowance (APA), a deposit that covers running costs such as fuel and food during the week. BENIK’s listing sets it at 40% of the charter fee, and PROMETHEUS I’s at 35% in high season. VAT depends on where you cruise, so ask us what applies to your route.
