Lagoon is the French yard behind the catamarans you see in almost every charter anchorage. It is the most common catamaran in the charter fleets we work with, from 45 foot family boats to the Seventy 7 flagship.
A crewed Lagoon 55 or 60 costs about €30,500 to €33,000 a week in high season in Greece and Croatia, and a 60 footer about $45,500 to $52,000 in the Caribbean. The Seventy 7 flagships run about €74,000 in the Mediterranean and $69,000 to $84,000 in the Caribbean.
We charter Lagoons in the BVI, the Bahamas, Greece, Croatia and the South of France, and our guide for each destination is linked below.
What is Lagoon known for?
- Choice: more Lagoons are available for charter than any other catamaran we work with, in every size and every destination we cover.
- The flybridge: most crewed Lagoons have a flybridge with the helm, sunbeds and a table, so a 55 or 60 lives larger than its length.
- The saloon: near-vertical windows give a bright saloon with views all round, the look that marks a Lagoon at anchor.
- Value: more cabins and deck space per euro than the semi-custom yards, which is why so many families and groups of friends start here.
- Sailing and power: alongside the sailing catamarans, Lagoon builds power versions, up to the Seventy 8.

High-season weekly rates of the 419 Lagoons of 45 ft and up, built 2000 or later, in our charter system, October 2026. Mediterranean yachts are priced in euros and Caribbean yachts in dollars.
The APA for running costs, usually 20 to 30% on a catamaran, plus local VAT or charter tax and the crew gratuity, come on top.
The smaller Lagoons cost less but usually carry two crew and less space. For a fully crewed week we recommend a Lagoon 55 or larger.
For every yacht of one model, see our Lagoon 620 charter and Lagoon 77 charter pages.
How does Lagoon compare with Fountaine Pajot and Sunreef?
The three catamaran yards we charter most, side by side:
- Lagoon: the widest choice, about €32,800 a typical high-season week for a 60 to 69 footer on the French Riviera.
- Fountaine Pajot: the other big French yard, about €37,000 a typical Riviera week. See our Fountaine Pajot yacht charter page.
- Sunreef: semi-custom and much wider, about €78,500 a typical Riviera week for a Sunreef 70 or 74. See our Sunreef catamaran charter page.
Lagoon and Fountaine Pajot are close in size and price, so the yacht and crew matter more than the badge. A Sunreef costs about twice as much because most chartered Sunreefs are 70 ft and up, with a superyacht-style fit-out.
