Sunreef Catamaran Charter: Cost, Models and Where to Charter One
Sunreef is the Polish yard that turned the charter catamaran into something closer to a superyacht. Its yachts are among the widest catamarans you can charter, so the saloon, flybridge and cabins feel like those of a much larger motor yacht, with the calm of two hulls at anchor.
A crewed Sunreef costs about €38,000 to €48,000 a week in high season for a Sunreef 60 in the Mediterranean, and about €76,500 to €81,000 for a Sunreef 80. In the Caribbean, a Sunreef 80 runs about $87,000 to $112,000.
We charter Sunreefs in the BVI, the Bahamas, Greece, Croatia and the South of France, and our guide for each destination is linked below.
What is Sunreef known for?
Width: the beam that gives a Sunreef its saloon, flybridge and full-width master suites.
Semi-custom builds: each yacht is fitted out to its owner’s brief, so no two feel quite the same.
Power and Eco models: alongside the sailing catamarans, Sunreef builds power catamarans and the Eco line, with solar panels built into the hull and near-silent electric cruising.
The flybridge: on most Sunreefs it is the social heart of the yacht, with dining, a bar and sunbeds above the water.
Each guide has the full range for that destination, the yachts based there and the costs on top of the charter fee.
We also charter Sunreefs in Italy, the Balearics, St Martin and the wider Caribbean, and further afield in the Seychelles and Thailand. Ask us about any of them and we will quote it.
How much does a Sunreef cost to charter per week?
A Sunreef 60 typically costs about €42,000 a week in high season in the Mediterranean and about $48,000 in the Caribbean. A Sunreef 70 or 74 runs about €78,000 or $76,000, and a Sunreef 80 about €81,000 or $94,000.

High-season weekly rates of the 169 Sunreefs built 2000 or later in our charter system, October 2026. Mediterranean yachts are priced in euros and Caribbean yachts in dollars.
The APA for running costs, usually 20 to 30% on a catamaran, plus local VAT or charter tax and the crew gratuity, come on top.
Most of the gap is size and fit-out: a typical charter Lagoon is 60 to 69 ft, while most chartered Sunreefs are 70 ft and up. For a group that wants the most space at anchor, the Sunreef is worth the difference.
For a family that wants a crewed catamaran at a lower weekly rate, a Lagoon or Fountaine Pajot gives the same calm of two hulls.
