Oceanco is a Dutch yard, founded in 1987 and based in Alblasserdam, that built its name on large one-off yachts. In 2002 Theodore Angelopoulos took control and the yard turned its focus to megayachts of 80 metres and more.
This page covers four Oceanco yachts, ranked by length from #4, the smallest, to #1, the biggest. FRIENDSHIP is the one Oceanco we list on our site, so she has a listing card. TREEHOUSE, SUNRAYS and BLACK PEARL are not on our listings: they are Oceanco yachts that Edmiston and YachtCharterFleet advertise for charter on their public pages, and we describe them here from those pages. The four are a selection, not every Oceanco that charters.
Oceanco at a glance
The four, in the cabin counts their agents publish, range from a 52.8 metre motor yacht built in 2000 to a sailing yacht of over 100 metres built in 2018. FRIENDSHIP (2000) and TREEHOUSE (2001) were built before the yard’s move to 80 metre and larger yachts, while SUNRAYS and BLACK PEARL are 85 metres and above. All four take 12 guests.
