Codecasa is an Italian family shipyard from Viareggio, and we list 7 of its motor yachts for charter. This page ranks all seven, from 126 to 214 feet (38.5 to 65.2 metres). The count runs from #7, the smallest, up to #1, the biggest, by the length on each yacht’s listing. Euro-priced rates start from €49,000 per week (OKTANA) and reach €320,000 per week (ISABELL); the one priced in dollars, JOIA THE CROWN JEWEL, starts from $420,000 per week.
Five of the seven list Greece first among their cruising areas, some with Turkey, Croatia or Cyprus as well. The two biggest, ISABELL and JOIA THE CROWN JEWEL, list a wide Mediterranean area, from the Balearics and the French Riviera to Italy, Croatia and Greece.
Codecasa in brief
Codecasa goes back to 1825, when Giovanni Battista Codecasa began working as a shipwright in Viareggio, on the Tuscan coast. The family opened its own yard in 1902 and has built luxury motor yachts since 1973; it is still run by the founder’s heirs and marked 200 years in 2025. Today it builds steel and light-alloy motor yachts from 30 to 70 metres, plus an all-aluminium range of faster yachts from 35 to 50 metres. Three of the Codecasas we list name the Della Role design house on their listings: JOIA THE CROWN JEWEL, INVADER and ABILITY.
The seven here were built over 32 years, from ISABELL (1990) to BOJI (2022), and every one except BOJI has had a refit, from INVADER’s in 2019 to OKTANA’s in 2024. ISABELL, INVADER, XANA and BOJI take 12 guests and ABILITY 11; for JOIA THE CROWN JEWEL and OKTANA, ask us to confirm guest numbers.

7. OKTANA
“A Classic Interior and a Long-Serving Crew”
OKTANA is a 126.3 foot (38.5 m) Codecasa built in 1995 for the ship-owning family that still offers her for charter. Her interior was refitted in 2022, and a 2023 to 2024 refit added a full repaint and new teak decks. She has 5 cabins, including a main deck master and a full-beam VIP below; ask us how many guests she can take for your group. She cruises the Cyclades and the Ionian at 15.5 knots, and carries a 5.5 metre tender, a three-seat Sea-Doo, 2 sea scooters, kayaks, a paddleboard and water skis. Rates run from €49,000 to €59,000 per week, plus APA.

6. ABILITY
“A Striking Interior After Her 2023 Refit”
ABILITY is a 137.8 foot (42 m) Codecasa built in 2007 and refitted in 2023, with the hull and superstructure repainted in 2025. She is based in Athens and cruises Greece. Her listing gives a cruising speed of 18 knots and a top speed of 30, the quickest of the seven. She takes 11 guests in 5 cabins with a crew of 8. Her listing gives a low draft of around 1.4 to 1.5 metres, so she can get closer into shallow bays and coves than many yachts her size. A jet tender, a Sea-Doo and a Seabob F5S cover the water time. Rates run from €110,000 to €125,000 per week, plus APA.

5. BOJI
“A 9 Metre Beam and a Long Toy List”
BOJI is the newest Codecasa we list: 141.1 feet (43 m), delivered in 2022, with a 9 metre beam that her listing credits for large interior and exterior volumes. She takes 12 guests in 5 cabins and cruises Greece and Cyprus in summer, with Turkey added in winter. Her water kit is one of the longest lists here: a 6.4 metre Castoldi jet tender, a second tender, a Sea-Doo RXP 300, 2 Radinn jet boards, 2 Seabob F5S, a transparent canoe, a windsurf board and electric bikes for shore days. Rates run from €175,000 to €235,000 per week, plus APA.

“Stabilised at Anchor and Underway”
XANA is a 147 foot (45 m) Codecasa built in 1994 and refitted in 2021, based in Athens and cruising Greece, Turkey and Croatia. She takes 12 guests in 6 cabins with a crew of 9. Her listing gives stabilisers at anchor and underway, a Jacuzzi and a gym. She carries two 5.7 metre tenders, a three-seat Sea-Doo GTS and 2 Seabob F5S, plus water skis sized for adults and children. Rates run from €150,000 to €178,000 per week, plus APA.
3. INVADER
“A 36 Foot Chase Boat Out of Athens”
INVADER is a 164 foot (50 m) Codecasa built in 2000 and refitted in 2019, based in Athens and chartering in Greece. She takes 12 guests in a master suite, two VIP suites and two twin cabins, with a crew of 12. She has a Jacuzzi and stabilisers at anchor and underway. The tender list is what stands out: a 36 foot Seafighter chase boat with twin 300 hp engines, a 5.5 metre dive RIB and a 4.3 metre Novurania. Add 2 Sea-Doo Spark jet skis, 2 Seabobs, a SeaRaft floating platform and fishing gear. Rates run from €200,000 to €225,000 per week, plus APA.
2. ISABELL
“A 63 Metre Yacht With a Bridge Deck VIP”
ISABELL is a 206.7 foot (63 m) Codecasa built in 1990 and refitted in 2023. Her listing covers a wide area: Greece, Croatia, Sicily and Italy, Sardinia, the French Riviera and the Balearics. She takes 12 guests in 6 cabins: a full-size master with a walk-in dressing room, an office and his-and-hers bathrooms, a VIP on the bridge deck, and two doubles and two twins below, each twin with a Pullman berth. On deck there is a Jacuzzi and an outdoor shower; the toys include 2 jet skis and 3 e-foils. She also has a gym, and a Crestron AV system installed in 2023. Rates run from €290,000 to €320,000 per week, plus APA.
1. JOIA THE CROWN JEWEL
“An Elevator, a Waterslide and a Beach Club”
JOIA THE CROWN JEWEL is the biggest Codecasa we list: 213.9 feet (65.2 m), built in 2010 and refitted in 2023, on an 11.2 metre beam. She has 9 cabins, a layout her listing calls rare; ask us to confirm guest numbers for your group. An elevator links the interior decks and her listing describes her as wheelchair accessible. She has zero-speed stabilisers, a beach club, a deck Jacuzzi, a cinema that converts to a massage room, a gym and karaoke. The toys include jet skis, Seabobs, a waterslide, 2 e-foils, kayaks and paddleboards, with a 42 foot centre console and a Castoldi jet tender. Greece is one of the cruising areas on her listing, alongside Italy, Sicily, Sardinia, the French Riviera, the Balearics and Croatia, and her listed base is France. Rates run from $420,000 to $500,000 per week, plus APA.

What a Codecasa charter costs
All seven charter on plus-expenses terms, and the rates cover the boat and crew only, without the crew tip. On top of the rate you pay an advance provisioning allowance (APA), a deposit that covers running costs such as fuel, food and drinks during the week, plus VAT. INVADER (30% APA, 6.5% Greek VAT) and XANA (35% APA, 5.2% VAT) give both on their listings; for the others, ask us to confirm the terms for your dates.
