This June I sent my clients aboard the Sunreef catamaran AMBER ONE for a week's charter out of Marina Kastela in Split, Croatia, sailing from 22 to 28 June. Captain Boris and Chef Dragan looked after them throughout, and my clients made the most of the yacht, hosting two dinners and several drinks parties on board during the week. When I checked in mid-charter to see how things were going, the reply was simple and genuine: "Everything is going well and thank you for checking in." That easy, unprompted response tells me the charter was running exactly as it should.

After his first job as a skipper when he was 19, he knew that this was exactly what he wanted to do in life. Boris completed his MCA/RYA Yacht Master Offshore based in the Solent, UK and holds D2 Basic Safety (STCW) Certificate. He is a fluent English speaker and can get by in Italian, French and German. His experience before includes being a captain aboard our Lagoon 560, Lagoon 620 and Sunreef 60 . Boris has a calm nature which makes him pleasant to be around and enables him to keep a cool head in handling any situation that can occur. Boris is a wine enthusiast and
