High-season weekly rates of the Sunseekers of 60 feet and up, built 2000 or later, in our charter system, October 2026. Mediterranean yachts are priced in euros and American yachts in dollars.
The APA for running costs, usually 30 to 40% on a motor yacht, plus local VAT or charter tax and the crew gratuity, come on top.
The smaller sport yachts cost less but carry two or three crew and fewer cabins. For a fully crewed week we recommend a Sunseeker of about 100 feet and up.
How does Sunseeker compare with Princess and Riva?
The yards we are asked to compare most, side by side:
- Sunseeker: about €155,000 a typical high-season week on the French Riviera at the standard we recommend, from sport yachts to superyachts.
- Princess: the other big British yard, from Plymouth, about €123,500 a typical Riviera week. See our Princess yacht charter page.
- Riva: Italian sport yachts with a classic look, about €135,000 a typical Riviera week. See our Riva yacht charter page.
All three build fast, sporty motor yachts of similar sizes, so the yacht and crew matter more than the badge. For a larger semi-custom yacht, see our Sanlorenzo and Benetti pages.
