What is the charter agreement?

The contract between you and the yacht’s owner. In the Mediterranean it is almost always the MYBA form, in the Caribbean the CYBA form. Both are standard industry documents that every broker and owner knows, so the terms are not a surprise.

It sets the dates, the fee, the APA percentage, the payment schedule, the cancellation terms, and who is responsible for what if the yacht breaks down or the weather closes in. We go through it with you before you sign.
