Josip Eljuga is an experienced boat skipper from Makarska, Croatia, with over eight years of professional experience in yacht charter operations across the Adriatic and Mediterranean. He has worked on sailing yachts and catamarans for leading charter companies, handling navigation, voyage planning, boat transfers, and full care of crew and guests on multi-day charters. He holds a Master’s degree in Maritime Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Marine and Yacht Engineering from the University of Split, and also has experience as a yacht captain and skipper instructor, delivering both practical and theoretical training. Here is what he says about his favorite place on the Adriatic coast: "Kornati Islands are my ultimate charter paradise in Croatia, where I know every cliff and secret cove like my own backyard. These 150 desert islands offer untouched wilderness, turquoise bays, crystal-clear waters for epic snorkeling, and tranquil anchorages under starlit skies with fresh konoba seafood. No crowds, perfect winds, pure freedom—heaven on earth."
