Yacht Description
MAHASATTVA yacht is a 62.00 ft long sailboat catamaran and spends the summer season in Caribbean Virgin Islands (US/BVI), Caribbean Virgin Islands (US), Caribbean Virgin Islands (BVI) and winter season in Caribbean Virgin Islands (US/BVI), Caribbean Virgin Islands (US), Caribbean Virgin Islands (BVI). It was built by Lagoon in 2018. The yacht layout features 4 cabins and accommodates 8 guests. The cabin arrangement is following: 4 queen cabins.
The sailboat features 2 x 110 hp diesel engines 2 x Onan generators 3 x 3,000w inverter engines and a generator.
Accommodation
Large salon for lounging with a large pop-up TV, or formal dining. Large aft deck lounge and alfresco dining area with access to the water on two wide sugar scoops with SS steel ladders and deck showers. On top, a spacious fly-bridge with a 360-degree view, fridge, bar, and lounge area. On the bow, two large lounge areas, trampolines, and bow seats for spotting dolphins.
Mahasattva is fully air-conditioned 24/7.
Equipped with wine fridges.
The Crew has separate accommodations and separate shower and restroom facilities.
Fans throughout the boat.
Linen turn around: every 3 or 4 nights….7 night charter normally after the 3 night or on the 4th day
We change out the sheets, pillow slips, hand towels, bath towels, swimming towels, face cloths and bath mats.
In the evenings we turn on lights. Close blinds….switch the A/C on if not already on

Riley grew up in Nova Scotia, surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. Spending time outdoors was a large part of his childhood and was where he got his first taste of life on the water.
After graduating from university, he completed his 200ton Captain's license and has been working at sea ever since. He’s been employed as a captain for the past six years and has completed over 70 charters. Riley has sailed throughout the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, around South Africa, across the Atlantic, and the coast of England and Ireland. He’s experienced on a multitude of sailing yachts, high-performance racing yachts, large motor yachts, and sailing super yachts. Riley will make sure you have a safe and memorable time onboard!
Meet Captain Ryan, a seasoned mariner, born and raised in Southern Africa, where his love for the ocean was nurtured from a young age. Growing up, he spent his mornings catching lobster and riding the waves as a surfer and kitesurfer before heading to school. After completing his Yachtmaster Ocean certification, he set sail on an epic journey through the Indian Ocean, exploring the vibrant coastlines of Madagascar, Mozambique, Seychelles, and Mauritius. He then established himself as a respected charter captain in the Mediterranean, sharing his expertise and stories with guests from around the world.
In 2021, Captain Ryan made the Virgin Islands his new home, drawn by the crystal-clear waters and warm Caribbean hospitality. With over 100 charters under his belt, spanning an impressive 40,000+ miles sailed, he's now eager to share his passion for the ocean with you on Mahasattva ensuring an unforgettable adventure that exceeds your expectations.
Chef Glen is a South African culinary artist with a decade of experience in the hospitality industry. Originally a mixologist and restaurant manager, his passion for flavor led him to pursue formal training at the Super Yacht Culinary Academy.
In 2024, Chef Glen further honed his skills at the École Ducasse Paris Campus, a world-renowned institution. This prestigious culinary school equipped him with advanced techniques and a deeper understanding of global cuisine.
Known for his fresh, light, and locally-inspired dishes, Chef Glen believes in bringing a sense of place to every meal. However, his culinary repertoire extends far beyond regional fare. He enjoys the challenge of creating diverse menus and loves the personal touch of working on a yacht.
Jessica grew up on the wild and beautiful Vancouver Island in Canada, where her love for nature and the ocean was fostered through hiking adventures and endless hours spent in the water. After years in the service industry and a life-changing solo trip to Central America, she discovered diving and committed herself to exploring the ocean, community work, and environmental care.
For the past six years, Jessica has worked as a dive instructor in the Caribbean and Mexico, with the last two years in the British Virgin Islands, earning her Elite 100 status from PADI in 2023.
During her time in Mexico , she worked as a hostess on the diving live-aboard Belle Amie, where she provided exceptional service to guests while managing all aspects of interior duties, assisting with diving operations, and ensuring safety on trips to the Revillagigedo Archipelago. In 2024, she joined the yachting industry, completing an Atlantic crossing on a 62ft Sunreef from the BVI to Naples, Italy. She led the team in provisioning and made significant contributions to cooking, cleaning, and watch duties during the 34-day, 4000 NM journey, which solidified her desire to work on sailboats. With over 2000 dives ranging from Caribbean reefs to deep Pacific dives with sharks and oceanic manta rays, Jessica is passionate about curating personalized, memorable experiences and is dedicated to sharing the beauty of the Caribbean islands, both above and below the water.

This Trip Tops Them All!!
We have traveled all around the world and had many fantastic experiences. This was a total unknown for some of us but we can all honestly say that this tops them all!! From the outset of being greeted at the airport, the attention to detail has been faultless to ensure we had the best time possible. The Mahasattva did not disappoint and we were often the best looking boat whenever we docked or sailed anywhere. She was supurb!!!
Over to the crew Riley, ultra professional throughout. Nothing was too much trouble. Every day he would ask if we were okay. Nothing was too much trouble, a supurb captain and I can't think of anyone more suited for this role.
Next up Glen, Every night we gave him applause for his incredible dishes served daily. We ate out a few times and none came anywhere close to his food perfection. it didn't take him too long to accept our British humour.
Finally, we have Ariana, a tough job with 6 guys, but her feisty character fitted in perfectly with us. Like a sister and daughter she mixed in with games, excursions and other activities, one of the guys, and we wouldn't have her any other way.
We were 2 families that came together as one, thanks to this wonderful experience, this team made this happen for us and we will be eternally grateful and we hope to reunite in the future on the Mahasattva, as one big family.

Wow! What a week!!! To have our family all together on Mahasattva was one of the best vacations of our lives. As great as this beautiful vessel and scenery is, the crew truly made the trip perfect.
Captain Riley, Chef Glen and Chief Fun and energy Airiana took the experience to another level. Riley made us all feel relaxed with his professional control of the boat at all times, plus the constant running us around on the dinghy.
Glen's cooking skills were amazing and he constantly out did himself.

Magnus is the best!!! Exceeded our expectations at every turn. Hope to be able to sail with him again. Jade and Jessi are awesome. The food was fantastic and no matter what curveball we through at her she handled it seamlessly and professionally. Jessi was great as well. Whether it be teaching us how to scuba dive or making the cocktail of the day, she always had a smile on her face and made us all feel special. Yacht was perfect and there was always plenty to do on the boat. Unicorn is a special animal... The food and drink was superb. Like I said earlier, we had very high expectations of our trip and every aspect was exceeded.

Our family had such a memorable week on the MAHASATTVA. The yacht is exquisite in its beauty but what makes it exceptional is the crew who quickly became wonderful friends. Captain Magnus, Chef Jayde, First Mate Ian - you couldn't have been more accommodating, the sail was wonderful, the food was exceptional, the coffee and drinks were fantastic. We can't thank you enough for welcoming us, and allowing us to create cherished memories!

Was an amazing vacation! The crew was 1st class and one of the best I have had in over 15 cruises.
Our crew was very knowledgeable and disciplined so we felt safe and well taken care of. This catamaran and crew is no question a 5 star! We will be back and wouldn't use any other boat or crew!

The boat is beautiful; it’s new and maintained to perfection.The crew attended to our every desire and anticipated our pleasures way beyond our expectations. The chef worked around our dietary request (gluten-free) and made each meal a culinary treasure. The crew were fun and engaging but respected our privacy when we wanted to be alone. The skipper was expert, flexible and kept us informed at the ideal level for each of us. This was the best vacation we’ve ever had; we’ll be doing it again and highly recommend it to your other clients. I’d be happy to talk with prospective boaters if it’s helpful to you
