Variable expenses — fuel, food, marina fees — are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA), an additional deposit added to the charter price. The remainder is returned after charter.

Ivan (Pale) Paškvan
Captain
Born 1973 in Zagreb, where he graduated Technical college. Since young age he developed interest in navigation and life on sea discovering it with his father and uncle during summers on coast. He volunteered in Croatian Navy and served there one year living, on navy ship. He finished his service as junior NCO with great knowledge in navigation, maritime low as well as in mechanical and electrical boat systems. Soon after navy, he starts his expertise in sailing guided by Emil Tomasevic, Ultra Sailing. He started working as a professional skipper in 2000 on sailing and motor yachts, as well as sailing catamarans. Also as sailing instructor thru his guidance and teaching passed more than 50 students and young skippers. Ivan/Pale is certified Yacht master and holds D2 Basic safety, GMDSS certificates.
With his experience as a skipper, he gained experience, excellent communication and relationship skills to provide totally relaxed time on board. Also, his curiosity led him to finish and get tour lider certificate to provide out standard knowledge about his country to his clients. He is fluent English speaker with great knowledge for LOCAL…restaurants, taverns, land and island history tours, wine tasting as well as for adrenalin or any kind of active activities.
As a person he is very approachable, patient in all situations which a makes him a person to be on board. As a father of two kids/young sailors he is great with kids giving them knowledge about sailing, life on boat and at sea, teaching them all importance about preserving sea, nature showing them great respect to it.
Besides his passion for sailing and work, he likes to travel the world discovering new cultures and meeting new people. He is book lover also very passionate in kitchen accepting any cooking challenge. Great deal of time he spends in nature, hiking and just being in nature in wild. His great happiness and success is if he succeed to plant ideas of easiness to travel the world by sea gained with wind to people-his clients and importance to preserve that kind of living as well as importance to preserve sea and nature globally.
