After finishing high school, he joined the Croatian Maritime Police, where he served as the boat commander until 2008. Between 2008 and 2010, Captain Ivo worked as a freelance skipper. Given his extensive experience, excellent knowledge of the Croatian coast, and hospitality, Captain Ivo was appointed Captain of Maiora 20 JANTAR.

We were lucky enough to return this year to celebrate our parent's 50th wedding anniversaries, and unsurprisingly the grandchildren managed to make themselves available for a return visit too!
Both of you, Ivo & Slavka, have been wonderfully accomodationg, and food and company has neem great. It's been a wonderful way to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary, particulary as our day (the Shoves') has been during this week. For us, Croatia will be on our return visit.
