HEAVENLY yacht is a 62.00 ft long sailboat catamaran and spends the summer season in Caribbean Virgin Islands (US/BVI), Caribbean Virgin Islands (US), Caribbean Virgin Islands (BVI) and winter season in Caribbean Virgin Islands (US/BVI), Caribbean Virgin Islands (US), Caribbean Virgin Islands (BVI). It was built by Lagoon in 2016. The yacht layout features 4 cabins and accommodates 8 guests. The cabin arrangement is following: 4 queen cabins.

Captain Nick Cann
Originally from Coeur d’Alene, Idaho Nick got an early start sailing with his father on lake Coeur d’Alene. Once the sailing bug got him he was hooked and at the age of 19 turned his love for the water into a career accepting a summer job on the Yukon River. The following summer setting his sights on a larger cruising ground Nick accepted a position with Alaskan Dream Cruises aboard the Alaskan Dream. For nearly the next decade he enjoyed cruising through beautiful Southeast Alaska chasing whales, dodging icebergs and exploring all the unique towns and villages the Southeast has to offer. During his second winter off-season he purchased his first sailboat, an Ericson 27 and spent his free time exploring the Puget Sound and San Juan Islands with the occasional snow covered decks and dreams of warmer waters. After three years he sold his boat and started to save for a blue water boat to take him to warmer climates and white sand beaches . In 2018 he found his boat, a 39ft Camper Nicholson Ketch in Rockland Maine. He purchased the boat in October and began to hop down the east coast spending as much time as possible exploring but holding firm to the rule, when the dock lines freeze its time to keep moving south. He arrived in the Bahamas in early 2019 and spent the remainder of that cruising season and the next exploring the islands. When Covid hit in 2020 and temporarily put a hold on cruising both professional and recreationally Nick relocated to Tahoe where he captained day tour vessels and parasailing boats for two summers and enjoyed a winter of snowmaking, grooming and snowboarding at Heavenly Ski Resort.
Nick and Amy met in 2015 aboard the Alaskan Dream and hit it off immediately. In their first three years together when not cruising in Alaska they traveled to south and Central America, India, Thailand and rode motorcycles across Laos and Vietnam. When the time came to purchase their sailboat in 2018 Amy quickly took a liking to the cruising lifestyle but was also a firm believer in the heading south when the dock lines freeze policy. Once arriving in the islands, Amy truly embraced sailing life and took her skills as a world class bartender and amazing cook to create some amazing memories with friends both new and old. Often using locally sourced fruits and rums for her cocktails and the occasional fresh lobster pulled out of the sea she combined the techniques learned through her travels to make for some incredible dinner parties.
Chef Amy Cann
Chef Amy was born & raised in the Land of 10,000 Lakes where she spent summers water skiing, wake boarding and fishing with her family. After spending 15 years in the Minneapolis restaurant scene Amy’s desire for adventure drew her to Alaska in 2015, where she quickly knew that boat life was perfect for her. While spending off-season backpacking around the world she never missed an opportunity to learn about the local flavors and cuisine, learning from chef’s in Peru, Thailand, Vietnam & India. You’ll find hints of these world flavors when dinning onboard with Chef Amy. After several years the idea of traveling by water had her very intrigued. She stepped onto a sailboat for the first time the day before her & Nick left on a 1,600 mile journey down the East Coast. Quickly learning the ins and outs of sailing in the cold October weather, some of her favorite parts of the journey was provisioning with locally sourced ingredients to create incredible dishes to keep them warm on their adventure. Once they arrived in The Bahamas the fun really started. Incorporating fresh island ingredients into onboard dishes and craft cocktails while exploring the crystal clear waters, Nick and Amy finally found their paradise. She never misses an opportunity to practice yoga on deck or find that perfect beach to lay out a mat with guests. Most of all, she is passionate about sharing her food and innovative cocktails while catering to guests personal tastes.

Captain Nick and Chef Amy were absolutely delightful! It was a privilege to watch them seamlessly interact to provide us with a magical week in the islands. Both were so friendly; their relationships with many of the locals was both fun and endearing. Both were knowledgeable about the islands and their stories about some of their adventures were captivating! Shoutout to Chef Amy for her culinary skills! The creativity and freshness of every dish has motivated all of us to expand our own thinking about food!

As this was my first boat trip ever and had no idea what to expect… the good news is that it exceeded everything I thought I knew and the bad news is that I am spoiled forevermore and will only be able to “boat” with you from now on! You were so absolutely amazing I can’t even put into words but what I can say is, it was the most at rest and at peace I have been in years… and this doubles for my husband. Many, many thanks and we will do our best to be back! And Amy seriously needs to publish a cookbook! Oh & come visit! We have a RV garage & a guest house!

We all had so many "firsts" on this amazing trip, night snorkeling, scooters and mopeds, pirates. The kids spent so many nights laughing and having a great time with you guys We will miss you both but promise to visit again. Nick and Amy, What a wonderful week! You truly exceeded all expectations. From the sea turtles at Treasure Island, Chan's backflip and that ski at Willie T's, into the caves and darkness and the hat that through Dante's inferno at the Baths, motorcycle rides and looping fresh lobster trap around Anegada, Chris' helicopter in the dance line at Wonky Dog, sunset at Saba Rock and dolphins outside of Foxy's. The ending night dive at Christmas Cove was epic - what a display of sea life right at our fingertips. You have spoiled us with your hospitality, especially drinks and oh my gosh the food!! Amy thank you for sharing your incredible culinary talents - what a treat. You guys made the trip - so much knowledge and genuine enthusiasm accommodating to all the needs of your guests - just wonderful! We have your spot saved on the Mardi Gras float. Don't forget the Luisiana Marsh adventure. You can always be guest stars in any music game Chris invents. Until we meet again our friends!

Thank you for creating a little idyllic fantasy of a week. You took such care of the girls and truly made them feel at home (well, better than home with bacon, mayo, pb n j's and cheerios and oatmeal). I know they will remember the boat trip for the rest of the childhood and for that I am incredible grateful. From the moment we stepped on and had a painkiller in our hand. We knew we were in for an incredible time. It is hard to put into works how meaningful this trip has been to our entire family. It is particularly difficult because the entire week was filled with over-the-top meals, creatively made cocktails, so many adventures, lots of laughter and most importantly, you delivered all of those things with a fun spirit. We have loved being with you both. You both gave us a week we wish would never end. We leave here with so many amazing memories, full hearts, and a few extra pounds. Nick and Amy, It's been an incredible week – so much so that words just seem to fall short. Everything about our time aboard has been beyond our expectations. How do we say thank you for showing us never before sights, tasting new foods, and just overall showing such attention to detail. You have cared for us in a way we have never experienced, allowing us a level of relaxation not often achieved.
We all enjoyed your warm and accommodating personalities and loved your sense of humor. It felt like you fit right into our group from day 1.

Nick and Amy this has been an unforgettable week. You have made our first visit to the Virgin Islands something we will cherish for the rest of our lives. We had no idea what to expect, so it's hard to say that you exceeded expectations, but we can't think of anything that could have made our time with you anymore enjoyable. Words really cant express how grateful we are for all the big and little things you did for us. We have so many memories that we will carry with us. Thank you so much!

What a wonderful trip we had, you took special care in the details of the day's activities and it really showed. Loved snorkeling the cove, the indian, and seeing the turtles. You meals were delicious and something I typically wouldn't try – you have special skills! Your daily drink was well thought out and tasty – need your shrub! What a special couple you are – the love you have for each other and your jobs are evident in all you do!

What a wonderful week it has been! Our family was looking forward to coming to the BVI's & knew our experience on the boat would be amazing; however, Heavenly and it's crew exceeded all possible expectations! Nick was the best with his easy going nature and knowledge of all the best spots to go and see. Amy will continue to astound us with her ability to cook one amazing meal after another accompanied by a big smile and radiating positivity. We will be talking about this trip for years to come and we will be back because of it! We will miss the painkiller ever-flowing fountain, but the real highlight will continue to be the Heavenly crew who not only were our tour guides but our friends on our favorite family adventure! This boat is "heavenly" due to it's amazing crew (of angels) :) Chef Amy you have super exceeded all our expectations as Chef and hostess. - Delicious, healthy and memorable. Presented as a 2-star Michelin restaurant. Local selections of food, herbs and beautiful flowers made every meal memorable. Captain Nick your calm navigation of the sea and the winds has kept us safe and comfortable. You managed to find the best locations and your timing was perfection. Dearest Amy Joe and Nick, what a delightful adventure this past week has been! We are incredibly fortunate to have met you, as our travel guides, chefs, Capt., and new friends. Thank you for your abundant enthusiasm and authenticity. I am amazed at how you were consistently so gracious with ours group. You have truly set the standard for what it means to have a Do you have truly luxurious, pampered vacation. From the moment that Nick cross the waters with Taylor to pick me up with my suitcase to Amy sharing her impeccable recipes on her bitter sweet last breakfast with the group, you both have put so much heart and compassion into making us feel welcome and valued. Thank you for the series of joyful challenges that helped us each get out of our own comfort zones and closer to our greatest, grandest potential‘s. I feel filled with gratitude I feel filled with gratitude when I reflect on our hike up Ramshead and night snorkel at Christmas Cove, among many other memorable moments. All of the little details, like color-coded water bottles, mint tart beverages, and waking up to a cup of Earl Grey, have made all the difference. I have traveled all over the world, multiple times a year. This had to have been my favorite trip. It was soooooo relaxing, soooo luxurious and soooooo nice!! Everything was perfection!! Nick & Amy exceeded my expectations from the time we woke up to the time we went to bed. The boat was so clean & so well maintained!! Loved everything!!!!!! We had toys for days. Paddle boards, (fell asleep on one without a paddle and nick reduced me) glass bottom kayak, floats, fishing, snorkeling gear, the whole package! AMY IS MY FAVORITE!! EVERY MEAL WAS PERFEEEECT!!! She puts her heart into what she cooks and it shows. She listened to us and knew exactly what we wanted to eat. I looked forward to EVERY meal. I don't regret eating every single thing on my plate even for a second!!! I was very impressed with the food. Everything was perfect I felt like a queen all week long!!! They are the best. This boat was so great it felt like home. I cried when I left!!! If you are considering a chartered boat - DO NOTTTTTT THINK TWICE!! BOOK IT YOU WON'T REGRET IT!!! DO IT!!

What a wonderful week! Nick and Amy showed us some of the wonders of the USVI. So much snorkeling, swimming, a few hikes, and of course, wonderful food. We were sad to not have the full family on this trip, thanks covid, but we will be sure to see Nick and Amy again with the entire family. This week has been absolutely incredible! We saw beautiful coral reefs, interesting fish, sea turtles, and an octopus! Nick and Amy treated us like princesses. Truly an unforgettable experience.

Our weeklong Christmas Island getaway with Nick and Amy was absolute perfection from the first minute! The food and drinks prepared by Amy were out of this world! Nick and Amy were the best hosts and had everything we needed or could want even before we knew what to ask for! They were great with suggestions of what to do and go see onboard! They even let us win at disc golf :) Nick knew the best snorkel spots and has the run for a float at Lime Out down to a science!

This trip was an adventure we had looked forward to for 15 years, as we met up with friends we met on our honeymoon in 2006.
This was not the original boat we planned , but boy did we score with Nick and Amy! From the moment we met them we loved them. They were so fun and sweet. They truly catered to our wants and needs even with a short notice of our arrival.
The boat was beautifully decorated with flowers and candles. Everything was so luxurious and we were very pleased.
We truly built friendships with Amy and Nick, one we hope to continue for years to come! We will definitely be joining our Captain and 1’st mate again for another adventure. The food was outstanding. Captain took us to all the great spots to snorkel and see new things!

There were flowers, lattes, Turkish cotton towels, comfortable beds, top notch food and of course sailing to any spot we requested that allowed us to swim with turtles, rays, coral fish plus snorkeling, tubing and diving with the sub wing. Every day was full of fun but that still didn’t compare to the friendship we built with Nick and Amy.
If you come aboard (or are aboard) I recommend having a little fun with theme days, going to limeout for lunch, and swimming at Christmas cove.
