Description: Captain Vinko was born in Split, Croatia, where his passion for the sea began at an early age, sailing the Adriatic each summer with his family on his father’s 9-meter Tica sailboat. After completing maritime high school and continuing with higher maritime education, he began his professional journey in the yachting industry in 2008 — a career he continues to pursue with great dedication today. For the past 12 years, he has been serving as captain on both private and charter yachts, such as S/Y Lady Sunshine (Jongert 109’) and motor yacht Mangusta 80'.
Calm, professional, and highly guest-focused, Vinko enjoys sports and spending time outdoors, bringing a relaxed and positive energy to every charter. Description: Petar is a highly skilled maritime professional with a strong engineering background and solid sea experience across both commercial vessels and yachts. He began his career as an Engine Cadet onboard bulk carriers and oil/chemical tankers, where he gained strong foundations in engine room operations, maintenance, and safety procedures.
He is currently serving onboard Bellkara, where he is responsible for the maintenance and reliability of all onboard machinery and technical systems. His experience includes troubleshooting engine performance, maintaining fuel, hydraulic and cooling systems, as well as overhauling pumps, compressors, and separators.
He has previous charter yacht experience onboard S/Y Lady Sunshine (Jongert 109’), further strengthening his understanding of guest-oriented yacht operations and high-standard service environments. He is now looking to transition further into a Deckhand/Technical Deckhand role within the yachting industry, combining his engineering expertise with practical deck skills.
