Who is Klara?

Klara Jakobsen is a seasoned sailor and yacht expert with more than 20,000 nautical miles at sea and hands-on experience across both classic and modern yachts.

From 2017 to 2023 she lived aboard her own sailboat and sailed from Australia to Europe, building a deep knowledge of long-distance cruising, yacht systems and life on the water. She has since reviewed thousands of yachts across the Mediterranean and Caribbean, attending the major shows to inspect vessels, interview crew and captains, and stay current on the latest models.

MAMMA MIA

Seen at the MEDYS Yacht Show 2025 in Nafplion, Greece

“Onboard beautiful MAMMA MIA in Nafplion. 6 cabins, family style, the crew is amazing, Greek hospitality at its best, special nights for men with barbecue and beer, and ladies’ night with masks and drinks. Also, disco night, Italian night, and on and on we go. This is a crew with endless ideas of how to make an unforgettable charter for their guests; this is truly worth noting.
MAMMA MIA also added a chase this year, included in the price, which adds a lot of extra value.

ALMYRA II

Seen at the MEDYS Yacht Show 2025 in Nafplion, Greece

“Stepping onboard ALMYRA II is a truly beautiful experience, especially for a sailor like myself.
She is a very high-class sailing yacht in perfect condition, with royalty-worthy service. She offers the perfect combination of champagne sailing and performance. I would dare go as far as to say she is the Rolls-Royce of sailboats.
ALMYRA II is also an accomplished sailing yacht – a prizewinner in the 2023 St. Barths Bucket.
The interior is above and beyond with custom-made art by Danae Stratou. The cabins are themed after natural elements: fire, wood, water, gold, and earth.
To give you an idea of the care for detail, the pillow cases get embroidered with each guest’s initials and are gifted at the end.
She is also fully equipped with SCUBA gear and a TIWAL inflatable sailing dinghy for guests to learn how to sail in a very safe, easy, and fun way.
Perfect for the Aegean, she is not intimidated by the Meltemi at all. The 200-kilo spinnaker says something about her size!

CHERRY

Seen at the MYBA Yacht Show 2025 in Sanremo, Italy

“Onboard motor yacht CHERRY in Sanremo 2025.
CHERRY is seriously nailing it.
Launched in 2023, in top condition, and running her second charter season with the same solid crew.
She sleeps 9, cruises with 12 for day charters. Based in Cap d’Ail with her own berth, already a win.
What sets her apart? Speed. She’s doing 42 knots cruising, making her one of the fastest around! Need for speed? She is it! Double up on your itinerary, France, Italy, whatever, no wasted time.
Crew pride themselves on delivering a very high-end service. – Came off bigger boats, so you’re getting superyacht-level dining and detail in a more nimble package. Suitable for both families and partiers.
Two SeaKeepers, stable even when you’re flying. Every sports channel worldwide. Eco toiletries, great toys, jet ski, e-foil, Seabob, big floating mat.
Captain Steve Dent sold me on the ”theatrical helm setup.” Extra seats at the controls, guests love riding shotgun as she planes. Feel a proper connection to the boat.
Finishing in Venice, July 6, no delivery fee if you hop on there. Honestly, CHERRY’s a rare niche: fast, high-end, and a super crew!
