Captain: Eric Crownover
Captain Eric hails from New Mexico but he was raised around boats from an early age and when he turned 17, he decided to join the Navy. It was then he realized that the ocean would be a major part of his life. After the Navy, Eric became a diving instructor in St John, United States Virgin Islands for a couple of years. Still wanting more, he got a job on a cruise ship as a deckhand. This is where he was introduced to the world of private yachts. After completing a 2nd Caribbean season, he moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL to begin his career working on private yachts. Captain Eric brings with him a vast knowledge of yachting and is a big asset heading up the stellar crew aboard M/Y RISK TAKER and will be very instrumental in our charter program and making sure each charter client and guests will thoroughly enjoy their time aboard.

Mate/Fishing Mate: Joseph Diaz
Mate Joseph began his yachting career in the summer of 2022. I have always had a passion for boats and I've surround myself with boating my entire life, being that I grew up on the Gulf Coast of Texas. Boating and fishing played a major role in my upbringing. Having worked on multiple fishing charters on the Gulf Coast and being a Mate and providing an excellent experience for all clients, it just came naturally for me when I dove “head first” into the yachting industry. I will bring to M/Y RISK TAKER my experience of being that perfect Mate for charter clients to enjoy their time on the water with my fellow crew members.

Kacie joined the yachting industry only a couple of years ago, coming from almost two decades of owning successful land based eateries. She grew up surrounded by a love for cooking and the marine industry, so becoming a yacht chef was something that came naturally. Chef Kacie strives to ensure every meal is a testament to her dedication, the art of cooking and her commitment to culinary excellence.

I'm Joni, the stewardess aboard M/Y RISK TAKER. My love for the ocean began in 2016 when I embarked on a transformative 6-month voyage across the Caribbean by sail. Subsequently, I pursued a career as a professional massage therapist and a certified yoga instructor. My journey led me back to the ocean, where I found the yachting industry to be the perfect avenue for a seamless career transition. With a passion for service and hospitality, I am dedicated to ensuring that every charter guests experience on board is nothing short of magical.

Eric Crownover Captain Eric hails from New Mexico but he was raised around boats from an early age and when he turned 17, he decided to join the Navy. It was then he realized that the ocean would be a major part of his life. After the Navy, Eric became a diving instructor in St John, United States Virgin Islands for a couple of years. Still wanting more, he got a job on a cruise ship as a deckhand. This is where he was introduced to the world of private yachts. After completing a 2nd Caribbean season, he moved to Fort Lauderdale, FL to begin his career working on private yachts. Captain Eric brings with him a vast knowledge of yachting and is a big asset heading up the stellar crew aboard M/Y RISK TAKER and will be very instrumental in our charter program and making sure each charter client and guests will thoroughly enjoy their time aboard. Mate/Fishing Mate: Joseph Diaz Mate Joseph began his yachting career in the summer of 2022. I have always had a passion for boats and I've surround myself with boating my entire life, being that I grew up on the Gulf Coast of Texas. Boating and fishing played a major role in my upbringing. Having worked on multiple fishing charters on the Gulf Coast and being a Mate and providing an excellent experience for all clients, it just came naturally for me when I dove “head first” into the yachting industry. I will bring to M/Y RISK TAKER my experience of being that perfect Mate for charter clients to enjoy their time on the water with my fellow crew members. Mate/Diving Mate: Katarina Lee Hello! I'm Katarina Lee, the dedicated deckhand on the motor yacht M/Y RISK TAKER. I'm a true ocean enthusiast, with a deep love for water sports like scuba diving, free-diving, and kite-boarding.
