Yacht Description
FELIX yacht is a 52.00 ft long sailboat catamaran and spends the summer season in Caribbean Virgin Islands (US/BVI), Caribbean Virgin Islands (US), Caribbean Virgin Islands (BVI) and winter season in Caribbean Virgin Islands (US/BVI), Caribbean Virgin Islands (US), Caribbean Virgin Islands (BVI). It was built by Lagoon in 2015. The yacht layout features 4 cabins and accommodates 8 guests. The cabin arrangement is following: 4 queen cabins.
The sailboat features 2x Yanmar 75hp Diesels 17.5 Kw generator 3000w inverter Voltage 110v via adapter engines and a generator.
Accommodation
4 guest queen cabins each with private ensuite electric head, vanity, and separate shower. The crew stays in a separate twin bunk cabin and private head.
This vessel is the 5 Cabin Version: 4 Queen Staterooms and 5th Bunk bed Stateroom. Normally Crew will take the bunks unless requested at the time of booking.
The Top fly-bridge offers seating and lounge area with a 360-degree view. There is also a lounge area forward behind the large trampolines.

With a lifelong passion for the sea, Captain AJ brings a wealth of experience and enthusiasm to sailing the beautiful waters of the British Virgin Islands. Growing up windsurfing on the English South Coast, AJ developed a deep appreciation for the ocean and its challenges.
AJ honed his sailing skills from a young age through competitive dinghy racing; Laser 4000, RS 500, RS800 competing in races on the River Thames in London and interclub events on the UK south coast. This experience instilled a strong sense of teamwork, strategy, and the ability to handle demanding conditions.
Beyond sailing, AJ has a diverse background in water sports. As a certified Padi Dive Master, he has explored underwater worlds in Australia, Indonesia, Thailand Egypt, and the Mediterranean. This experience provides a unique perspective on the marine environment and ensures the utmost respect for the ocean's delicate ecosystems.
With extensive experience in yacht chartering and a recent season in Croatia, AJ is adept at navigating various waters and weather effects providing exceptional sailing experiences. His RYA Yachtmaster Offshore qualification demonstrates his commitment to safety and professionalism.
When not sailing, Captain AJ enjoys exploring his other passions, including kitesurfing, wakeboarding, cycling, mountain biking, skiing, food, and photography. Our Crew - the Icing On The Cake
Amazing week of sailing in this wonderful area. Each of the overnight stays offered something different and were each special in their own way. Our crew of AJ, and Chilli were the icing on the cake. The briefing every morning gave us all the info for the day and suggestions for lunch/swimming spots on the way. AJ, our captain, has excellent knowledge of the local area and also helped with any sailing questions we had. Chilli was our social organizer, she organized everything down to the last detail! She knows everything about every place we stopped at and the best places to eat, moor and drink! It was our first trip in many years, but having had such a great experience we will be back very soon!
What A Week!
What a week! We were all very excited and very anxious about our first sailing vacation in nearly 20 years in equal measure. it didn't disappoint, in fact I think I'm speaking for all the family to say we were really taken by the beauty, it's people, places and atmosphere. We were provided a very comfortable, well appointed and maintained yacht that worked ideally for us; lots of space and sailed really easily for us rusty sailors. The vacation would not have been the same without our crew, they were amazing. From the energy, diligence, constantly smiling and nothing is too much trouble attitude from Chilly as host; to AJ the unflappable captain who gave us all the confidence to drop the anxiety and enjoy the sailing. The team striking the right balance of making it safe and fun, social and organized; yet giving everyone all the space they needed to enjoy the vacation with their own family, never in your faces, but always on hand at any time to help out when needed. Nothing ever feeling like it was a burden or a hassle. Any guest getting lead crew will be very lucky indeed.

What an amazing week sailing. Everything was thoroughly thought through making our first experience effortless. the cruising area is stunning and the people and food wonderful. In particular our crew of AJ and Chilly brought tremendous energy, fun and reassurance creating a really special environment for everyone. The boat was spotless and extremely well equipped allowing us to have AC, fresh water making and a BBQ by the diving platform. Not sure how we will beat this one! Thank you for great memories!!
Fantastic Vacation
What a fantastic vacation! The whole family enjoyed it immensely and can’t wait for our next trip. AJ and Chilly couldn’t have been better, managing the flotilla, weather, restaurant bookings and everything else seemingly effortlessly but with obvious care and great thoughtfulness. They worked excellently as a team, turning their hand to anything - nothing was too big or too small for them to help out with. They were great with the kids and made the whole experience fun for everyone. Thank you !

The most fabulous surprise this week was the cooking. The variety and ingenious recipes- all of them health foods, blew my mind. It's the first time ever I really enjoyed health conscious cooking. There were meals- your baked eggs, my favorite - that were shockingly tasty. Thank you for everything. You adapted to our dietary choices. One pescatarian, dairy free, gluten free, and spice intolerance. And like magic came up with recipes that were both gorgeous and delicious, filling and healthy. You did it with love and enthusiasm-including the menu board done with calligraphy. And the boat was so comfy.

This was 10/10 easily the best trip I have ever taken. Both of you are really awesome people, some of the best that I know. Taylor, you make the best food I have ever tasted and are super fun to hang out with. Zack, you know all the secrets to all the islands and are pretty tough and super fun to hang out with. Thank you for the best trip of my short life...so far. Maybe next year will be even better.

Thank you for an enjoyable week of sailing and exploring. Very much enjoyed meeting you both and incorporating you into our family while in the USVI. It went by so quickly but was packed with so many unique experiences, beach time, hiking, ruins, snorkeling (day and night), and many water sports. Great time!

Zack and Taylor, this has been an amazing week. We have done so much that it is really hard to pick one favorite. Hiking, snorkeling, swimming, tubing, wakeboarding, puzzles, games, stories, sunsets, beautiful views, great music, and so much more! I can't believe how much we packed into one week.
Food...Where do I start? Every meal and snack was so thoughtful and accommodating to our families. Everything was delicious and beautiful. I will definitely be texting you for recipes.

This is definitely a yacht for foodies. The food and drinks will leave you wanting more. Taylor's food and drinks are amazing! Zack is a wonderful yachtsman. He knows his places and having him share where to go next every evening was very informative. They really made this trip a lot of fun and very enjoyable for us.

A Key Lime Pie to die for, thanks for such a memorable trip!
What an amazing adventure! Zack and Taylor were great hosts. We sailed and stopped at so many great locations, so it's hard to pick a favorite. I think Christmas Cove was my favorite snorkeling spot. Saw amazing coral, fish, rays, and starfish! Zack was always accommodating or making sure we went to locations that met our devices. Chef Taylor - Wow! The food was incredible! I'm sure the scales will confirm that I enjoyed everything Taylor prepared for us. I'm having a hard time coming up with a favorite entree but dessert...hands down for me was the Key Lime pie. Taylor uses many unique and delicious flavors to enhance everything she cooks. The presentations are pure art work. It was fun to see Taylor and Zack working as a team in the kitchen. Thanks for a memorable vacation.

We had an amazing time on the Felix with Zack and Taylor. This has been a long time (30 plus years) dream of ours. It exceeded our expectations. Zack is a knowledgeable captain. We felt safe at all times. He was full of information about the islands and always took us someplace interesting and fun. We especially enjoyed snorkeling at Monkey Point and Christmas Cove. Visiting the Baths was an especially nice trip. Zack also is a great scuba instructor. Doing a refresher course and dive was great. So the only thing bad I can say about Taylor's cooking was that my clothes are so tight as I prepare to leave! Steak and lobster were so good. As was the korean kabobs and Key Lime pie (BEST EVER!) The Felix is a great boat. Comfortable and well outfitted but Taylor and Zack made the trip! You became like family Visit Michigan some day!

Both Zack and Taylor were friendly and enthusiastic about showing us all the BVI and USVI has to offer. Both are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and open to ideas and we always felt safe and comfortable. Besides knowing everything there is to know about marine life, Zack went above and beyond with taking our teenage crosscountry enthusiast son on trail runs and explored other islands. Thank you very much for our time on the Felix. We could not have had a better time. Even with one night of rain you all made it a blast. We loved having Zack go out snorkeling in the water with us. He was able to show and teach us so much about marine life. Taylor's food kept us full and was yummy. The Low Country Boil was delicious. There is so much to do you will never get bored. A vacation of a lifetime. Thank you Felix and crew.

An Adventurous Week
That was one hell of an adventurous week! Thank you for helping us be "life hogs". Although Nana lobbied hard to join you for the rest of the sailing season we are going to drag her off the boat to the flight. This vacation is in our "ALL TIMER" list of great vacations! Thanks for the fun, laughs, drinks, food, sailing, diving, snorkeling, and all around good times!

Truly amazing! What a glorious time we all had and it was made especially awesome by you two - the ultimate dynamic duo!
