An engaging guide with a knack for finding hidden gems, Captain Spence goes above and beyond to ensure each charter is memorable for guests and crew alike

Erica, a native of North Carolina, greets each guest with warm Southern hospitality. After earning her Bachelor’s in Mass Communications, she worked in hospitality in Wrightsville Beach, NC, where she met Captain Spence, sparking her love for the yachting world. With five years of full-time experience on yachts, Erica brings a blend of high-level service, bar management, and a dedication to guest satisfaction that ensures every charter is smooth and memorable.

Henrico Oliver | Chef | South African
Henrico, from the scenic town of Gordon’s Bay near Cape Town, South Africa, brings a global culinary flair to CHANSON. His formal training in culinary arts began in 2010, followed by a stint at the esteemed French fine dining restaurant Waterkloof, where he honed his craft. With a decade of experience as an executive chef in the U.S., Henrico’s dishes are influenced by his travels and diverse culinary inspirations. Now on board, he’s eager to create unforgettable dining experiences. And here’s a fun fact: Henrico is a Tetris master!

Reef Gallagher | Lead Deck Dog | American
Reef, the lovable Mini Australian Shepherd, is CHANSON’s loyal and dedicated Lead Deck Dog. Tasked with keeping the deck secure, he brings unmatched charm and enthusiasm to the crew. Reef loves to meet new friends, chase his favorite ball, run along the beach, and, of course, swim! He’s always ready to greet guests with his signature wiggles and provide a week full of puppy affection.
