CAPTAIN
Hugo O'Kelly
Hugo is a seasoned sailor who has been captivated by water from a young age.
He grew up in England, in a small county just outside of London and spent most holidays by the seaside of Cornwall. At the tender age of seven, Hugo discovered his passion for sailing, racing lasers and 49er's while at school. Later in his youth he became an instructor for this.
Hugo's passion for sailing and the ocean grew stronger after school, so he headed to the South of France to work on luxury Superyachts. At 18, he was selected and sponsored to race across the Atlantic being the youngest crew in the fleet. This is when Hugo realized his true calling. He completed his Yacht Masters amongst other qualifications with the dream of becoming a captain.
Hugo has at present, worked as Skipper and 1st Mate on luxury yachts of up to 100ft. From sailing charters to sea-life safari tours - he's been sailing in some of the most beautiful and exotic locations around the world. After completing his second crossing to Antigua, he is currently obtaining his Ocean Master.
When he's not at work, Hugo is an avid water-sports enthusiast and instructor.
He loves to coach waterskiing, wakeboarding, and wake-surfing. Surfing, diving and fishing are also just a few of his many hobbies. Whether on the water or on land, Hugo is always seeking new adventures and finding ways to connect with the sea.

Judith Van Den Nieuwendijk
Judith was born and raised in The Netherlands. As a child she was always on the water and spent her summers windsurfing as a hobby. Apart from her sporty side, she loves to cook and make people at comfort. She has always been comfortable in the kitchen which led to her study at an international hospitality school in the south of The Netherlands. There she elevated her passion for hospitality to a professional career.
Judith is a skilled and experienced chef, trained both at the hospitality school in the south of The Netherlands and most recently at the Ashburton culinary institute. She has been honored to work in luxury hospitality for the past eight years, she has worked at various high-end hotels, restaurants and events both in Europe and the Caribbean. Her love for cooking shows in the wide array of dishes prepared onboard Lola, all up to guests preferences. While constantly aiming to create the perfect vacation experience, Judith takes great pride in cooking with wholesome, fresh ingredients of great quality.

Hugo - Thank you for the smooth sailing, how you 'cleaned up' after all of our spills with a smile, and making our happy hours 'happy' in so many ways with all your special drink concoctions. Thank you for making an effort to hunt for my lost sunglasses. That was above and beyond and I knew if you couldn't find them, nobody could. Thanks for taking the kids for their 'joy rides' and taking us out of your way to Sandy Spit. We created so many memories - not the least of which was our celebration dinner that you helped us arrange.

We can't thank you enough for a fabulous week! You were attentive to every detail and your youthful energy was a perfect fit for our family. The itinerary was ideal with each stop offering something special and breathtaking view. Hugo - your knowledge and experience always assured us that we were in the most capable of hands. Judith - your meals were beyond description, flavorful, varied, healthy and above all, delicious. Everything was a feast for our eyes and our bellies.
The boat (Lola) was wonderful, clean, comfortable and just the right amount of space for everyone. We loved sitting on the bow or upon the flybridge - especially while underway. We appreciated learning more about what we were seeing and hearing about your experiences.

You have given us so many memories, we loved breakfast on the beach. The amazing stops/ports just when we thought we had a favorite stop, you surprised us. The water sports and snorkeling, the meals were amazing. Not having a worry in the world makes a vacation. Everything was taken care of. The ice coffees and cocktails to start the day and end it. Thank you for making this trip the best trip ever. Thank you for keeping our family safe. You’re the best you always have a place to stay in the States.

Truly a once in a lifetime experience
Dear Hugo and Judith,
It is hard to put into words what an amazing experience this has been. Truly a once in a lifetime experience enjoying some of the most beautiful of god’s creations on an outstanding boat, with the best crew we could have even imagined. We are so impressed with how talented and professional you have both been throughout the entire week. The two of you and all your hard work added sooo much to our vacation. We are so grateful that we got to spend this time together making such wonderful memories that we can cherish for years to come. We pray that god blesses you in all your future endeavors and adventures.

Having y’all hang out with us on and off the boat really make it a good time. This is our happy place and you both hold a place in our hearts and memories here. There are countless laughs and memories that made this week! Your knowledge and willingness to explain things about sailing is very appreciated Hugo. Also your sense of humor and cutting up with us was great. Judith, your cooking and recipes were all over the top. Definitely 5 star meal.s You gave me some new ideas for dishes to make for Traci and our kids!
Oh yeah, can’t forget about the cocktail of the day, they were all amazing! And thank you both for playing five second rule with us. It was so much fun!! Sorry we had to beat you both at Tipsy’s on the ring game, hahaha!

Pure perfection!
Pure perfection! Everything was amazing! You even ordered up our request for nice weather and (almost) always smooth seas. This was the most unforgettable trip - the food you made was truly 5 star, but the presentation was equally stunning. Great captain! We felt truly cared for with your kind and knowledgeable personality. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you'd like to visit the Midwest and stay at our home. Sorry my cooking will not come close to yours. We would love to sail with you again soon.

The final day has arrived sadly! Thank you both for this wonderful experience. It is memorable for the things I(Greg) learned about sailing, for the beautiful places we visited, but mostly for the warmth & welcoming felt from you both. My only regret is the 5-6 pounds I gained not being able to turn down a morsel of the incredible cuisine offered. Thank you and smooth sailing through life!
