Captain Bailey Wallisch spent his summers growing up in Sitka, Alaska where he started his career in the maritime industry aboard charter fishing vessels at the age of 12. He continued as a professional fishing guide for 10 years leading into his transition to yachting, where he has spent the last 4 years on boats ranging from 90 to 170 feet in length. Over this time period Bailey’s work has allowed him to gain experience on both coasts from Alaska to Panama and New England down to the Bahamas, Exumas and Mexico. Growing up, when Bailey was not guiding fishing in the summers, he was competing on the U.S. telemark team in Steamboat Springs, Colorado where he grew his passion for skiing and backcountry activities such as backpacking and camping.

From the small city by the sea of Newport, Rhode Island, Kat has always had an affinity for the ocean. After finishing her master’s degree in infectious disease epidemiology, she felt called to a full-time life at sea. She has spent the past 7 years working on a variety of yachts in New England, Alaska, Mexico, Florida, and the Pacific Northwest. When she’s not working, Kat can be found doing one of her many passions: yoga, reading, hiking, or writing, just to name a few. Always looking for adventure, she has lived abroad in Europe, Australia, and Mexico. She loves to make others laugh and aims to provide the best service with a smile.
