Possessing a Class A diploma from the Hellenic Ministry of Mercantile Marine, he is dedicated to refining his craft and knowledge. Alexandros has enriched his culinary expertise through seminars in Mediterranean cuisine, rice, flour, bread, Turkish stuffed cuisine, and Greek & European Cheeses. Beyond the kitchen, he finds passion in Martial Arts, hiking and Enduro mountain bike racing. Known for his calm yet enthusiastic demeanor, Alexandros consistently goes above and beyond, striving to exceed the expectations of his clients with every culinary endeavor. Vasiliki brings a strong background in hospitality and hands-on sailing experience to her role as 3rd Stewardess aboard M/Y Aqua Libra. She spent two consecutive seasons aboard the Meltemi sailing ship in Athens, working both as a stewardess and deckhand, where she managed guest services, coordinated activities, assisted with paperwork, and participated in all onboard operations, from docking to offshore sailing. With a solid foundation in F&B, including leadership roles at high-end restaurants in Athens, she’s known for her excellent presentation, attention to detail, and warm, professional demeanor. She holds certifications including STCW, Seafarer ID, and an Offshore Sailing Diploma, and is passionate about travel, music, and photography.

George Gavalas

Deckhand

An experienced deckhand with several years in yachting, currently serving on board M/Y Aqua Libra (40m Sunseeker). His previous experience includes M/Y Oasis 50m, M/Y Christina 20m and M/Y Moya 17m, where he developed strong skills in deck maintenance, mooring operations, tender handling and supporting the smooth day to day running of luxury yachts. He also brings valuable technical knowledge from seven years in yacht repairs and bodywork, including GRP repair certification. He holds a speedboat operator licence, speaks English and French, and in his free time enjoys fitness, fishing and watersports.
