WHO IS KLARA?
Klara Jakobsen is a seasoned sailor and yacht expert with over 20,000 nautical miles at sea and extensive hands-on experience across both classic and modern yachts. From 2017 to 2023, she lived aboard her own sailboat and sailed from Australia to Europe, developing deep knowledge of long-distance cruising, yacht systems, and life on the water.
Klara has reviewed hundreds of yachts across the Mediterranean and Caribbean, regularly attending major yacht shows to inspect vessels, interview crew and captains, and stay current on the latest models and technology. Her work includes destination research, yacht walkthroughs, and producing expert content to help charter clients make informed decisions.
With a background in traditional boatbuilding, superyacht refits, and editorial work in the sailing space, Klara brings a rare blend of technical insight and practical sailing experience to every review and recommendation.
