Yacht Description
MELITI yacht is a 56.00 ft long sailboat catamaran and spends the summer season in Greece and winter season in Greece. It was built by Lagoon in 2014. A refit was done in 2020. The yacht layout features 5 cabins and accommodates 10 guests. The cabin arrangement is following: 4 queen cabins, 4 double cabins, 1 twin cabin, 1 pullman cabin.
The sailboat features Meliti is our Lagoon 560, a catamaran available for crewed charters throughout Greece. With 5 cabins and 5 wc it is perfect for groups of up to 10 guests. Meliti ‘s genealogy comes from super yachts combining the world-renowned talents of the architectural firm VPLP and the design consultants Nauta and boasting all of the advanced features developed by the famous Lagoon Shipyard in one luxurious deep-water catamaran that will definitely exceed your expectations in terms of comfort, handling and style! Her layout is unmatched by any other catamaran of her size and her living space is phenomenal, including 5 truly huge totally independent cabins, an impressive sense of space in the saloon and galley, ample lounging space on the flybridge and more roominess than you could ask for dinning and lounging in the vast aft cockpit. Captain: Yiannis Votsis
Captain Yiannis Votsis
Yiannis is born in 1986 in Greece. He commenced his career as maintenance coordinator and Captain from 2000 aboard charter and private sailing and motor yachts up to 78 feet along with yacht deliveries from North France, Great Britain, Majorca, Croatia and Italy. Yachting and seafaring on a professional level are like a second nature to him as the sea keeps him fascinated and alive. Safety is also a top priority for him and he always does his utmost best to ensure the guests have an excellent time on board throughout the charter. He speaks Greek and English.
George was born in 1975 in Athens. He holds a BA from School of Tourism Professions of Rhodes.
He started his career as a cook in 1998, working in notable hotels and restaurants both in Athens and in resorts in Mykonos, Santorini, Elounda and Porto Heli. From 2004 he continued his career as a Chef in well-known restaurants in Athens and from 2021 he works as a Chef in the yachting sector and has received excellent reviews and recommendations. He ‘s ready to face new challenges and serve his creations with guests on board Meliti! He speaks Greek, English and French.
Stewardess Yulia Vengkriniak
Yulia was born in 1996 in Russia. She has graduated shipping at New York Colleague and has worked in many hotels before she decided to move to the yachting industry as hostess. Her communication and cooperation with guests make them feel like home. Yulia is a hard working person and in her free time she likes dancing and painting. She speaks fluently Greek and English, Russian and Ukrainian conversational.

We had an amazing time, we visited many islands that were beautiful. The cruising was amazing and best of all the crew took care of everything from good meals. great service and the Captain arranged some wonderful tours on shore. Look forward to joining this team again some time. We have done 4 other cruises like this but this was by far the best.

This has been the most amazing four days!! We feel so privileged that we have been able to get this experience in a very complex time due to the Covid-19. It has been so calm and relaxing. Exactly what we needed. The service and professionalism that we have met have been very positive, - Not to forget the delicious food. Everything was perfect – except the wind but you all managed it so well that it really wasn’t a big deal. Stelios – you were always calm and found great places for us to swim & SUP even on windy days – THANK YOU!! Grigoria – your food was spectacular. So hard to pick a favorite dishes since they were ALL amazing. Every day – every meal – so much put into them and they were inspired and delicious. Kat – you always knew when it was “Sprite time” and really added great energy and positivity to our trip. As we first spring on the boat, we felt the good welcoming vibes. As the days passed, we’ve proven ourselves more difficult, a good sort of difficult, but still. And the crew have proven themselves more professional, caring understanding and versatile. Everyone is a personality on its own, but together, the Meliti has been the closest experience to a womb.

Dear super meliti crew, we had the best time with you all. We enjoyed so much your cooking Gregoria, all your traditional recipes were divine. Nicolas with his patience and kindness with all our little kids made on their time on the boat so special. Mariana thank you so much for the lovely birthday cake for Yotam, it was so nice of you to put the effort. We are waiting to meet you all in Tel-Aviv. We might change the boat or the destination, but we love to keep you as our crew <3
