HOURGLASS yacht is a 59.00 ft long sailboat catamaran and spends the summer season in Caribbean Virgin Islands (US/BVI), Caribbean Virgin Islands (US), Caribbean Virgin Islands (BVI) and winter season in Caribbean Virgin Islands (US/BVI), Caribbean Virgin Islands (US), Caribbean Virgin Islands (BVI). It was built by Fountaine Pajot in 2025. The yacht layout features 4 cabins and accommodates 8 guests. The cabin arrangement is following: 4 queen cabins.

The sailboat features Volvo 2 x 150CV 2 x Fisher Panda 12KW engines and a generator.

Captain: Adriana Vega

Captain Adriana Vega
Captain Adriana was born and raised in Puerto Rico, spending much of her life in and around the water. Her passion for sailing blossomed in her twenties when her father bought his first cruising sailboat, allowing her to explore some of the Caribbean's most exotic sailing destinations. Before these adventures, she attended college in Florida, earning a BBA degree. While in Florida, she also worked in the service industry, where she honed her passion for entertaining. This unique background enabled her to combine her love for the water and hosting, leading to a fulfilling career as a charter captain. Adriana's success in the industry is a testament to her determination and hard work.


Chef/First Mate Martin
As an international man of flavor, Chef Martin was born in Cairo,Egypt and raised throughout South America. His travels have brought him bouncing around the Americas and Caribbean, from grilling meats in Texas on his own food truck, opening an eco lodge in the wild jungles of Belize to being the finalist on an episode of chopped. He now found his way to the beautiful USVI looking to incorporate his love for food with his love for the water.

The passion for cooking and entertaining started at a young age, being influenced by his family in Venezuela. Hosting large family gatherings and making everyone feel at home and like family. Ensuring that there is enough for everyone to share in the festivities with a sense of belonging. He instills this mind set on every voyage and is looking forward to creating your next flavorful experience.

Classically trained at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde park, NY”, Martin has learned how to balance formality with his wild and inventive culinary spirit. Having constant access to the bounties of the seas every day he is on the water, the opportunity to create an unforgettable culinary experience is only a splash away.

Unforgettable vacation with captain Adriana and Chef Rachel. They
could not have made the trip more memorable. They provided
outstanding service and fun! She always found the best mooring spots
for us. We loved having them come with us on adventures to karaoke
at Bitter End, explore the Baths, experience Willy T’s and so much
more. Captain was so flexible and accommodating. We really
appreciated her teaching our son Charlie to sail- she was so patient.
And chef Rachel- WOW!! She has such a passion for cooking. So
many wonderful meals- we actually ran out of adjectives
complementing her meals. We especially loved the salmon bowls,
lobster and rice. We could go on and on. Thank you so very much for
everything you did to make our BVI vacation so incredible!

Perfect vacation with the all gal crew! They changed up the plans on a
dime, made us feel extremely welcome and prepared food better than
a five ⭐ restaurant! Took us to all the cool spots. We all got to do
what we wanted to and they catered to our young adults too! Amazing
trip, Beautiful scenery, sails of a master and artistic and delicious
meals! I don’t know how we could have had a better trip, other than for
the week not to end! Thanks to the Memento Amori- what a
catamaran!! Set up perfect for our crew.

We were all so excited to have a chef onboard & not have to cook or leave the boat! This was a unique week for Sam bringing Martin Horsey aboard in Carrie’s absence, but together they operated like a well-oiled machine. Martin was absolutely wonderful. We kept telling him to stop feeding us so much so we could have a chance to be hungry for dinner! I took pictures of almost every meal & snack he prepared. From fresh poké bowls, to homemade rum cake, lobster Benedict for breakfast or Nutella French toast, our tastebuds could barely keep up. We requested a steak dinner for our last night which he prepared perfectly, & he even rose to the challenge from Chris to make a Doritos encrusted snapper which we all loved! By the end of the trip the ladies were hanging out in the kitchen to watch him work. It was so clear that he loves his job & took great pride in feeding us. He can also make lots of fun mixed drinks & kept our glasses full!

Adriana and Rachael are a dynamic duo, crewing a fabulous and
thoughtfully appointed (and roomy) catamaran. Their local knowledge
is excellent taking us to some fun party spots and some peaceful out
of the way hideaways we couldn’t have asked for a better crew.
Rachael’s food was outstanding. We ate better on the boat than at any
of our meals on shore. Everything aboard this operation is first class.
