GYRFALCON yacht is a 60.00 ft long sailboat catamaran and spends the summer season in Caribbean Leewards, Caribbean Windwards, Caribbean Virgin Islands (BVI) and winter season in Caribbean Leewards, Caribbean Windwards, Caribbean Virgin Islands (BVI). It was built by Sunreef Yachts in 2019. The yacht layout features 5 cabins and accommodates 10 guests. The cabin arrangement is following: 5 queen cabins.

Captain Syl
Syl’s journey began on the shores of the Northumberland Strait, along Canada’s Atlantic Coast, where life revolves around the sea. From an early age, he was immersed in sailing, spending nine years at his local sailing school. While racing dinghies was a thrill, what he loved most was simply being out on the water. The salty Atlantic air has always stirred something deep within him—sailing feels like second nature, awakening a sixth sense.
After an entrepreneurial career and seeing his sons off to college, Syl decided it was time to chart a new course. He pursued his passion, earning his Captain RYA Yachtmaster Certification along with all the necessary qualifications to become a professional yacht captain. Since then, he’s never looked back.
Known for his kind and generous spirit, Syl is a calm, confident, and respectful captain who loves engaging with his guests. He collaborates closely with charter guests to design custom itineraries, whether that’s sailing to a secluded beach or exploring must-see island destinations. With Syl, you’re part of the itinerary decisions—simply choose the direction, and he’ll ensure every moment is unforgettable, creating lifelong memories while sailing in the moment.

The week was fantastic! In every way. The crew was wonderful— perfect mix of friendly but not inserting themselves too much into our private time. GREAT food— really some of the best ever! Great sports and patience to let us try everything! The destinations were well curated. And the tiny hiccups handled with grace. The tender problem was handled so well we hardly knew of the hard work it took to get a replacement. The pickup and drop off change was handled so well. We felt cared for like kings and queens. We would definitely choose the water taxi and ground taxi services you all provided as they were top notch. I really cannot think of anything we would criticize. We’d love to make the trip again! Kudos to all.

This was an amazing trip for us, bringing lots of relaxation and de-stressing. The food was amazing and the variety of activities on the boat and on the islands kept us busy and the time we spent with good friends will not be forgotten. You all are wonderful hosts, great problem solvers, and are most definitely beyond your years. Wishing you a successful charter season. Thank you!

What an amazing adventure we're here on! You both are fantastic and did everything to make it so. Such fun we had with all your water toys and every dish + bite you brought us too! We felt such confidence in you and knew we were in amazing hands. And your dishes were superb, a fine test[ament] to your putting on you, & still don't know how you manage to create such gourmet meals! Robert thank you for all your help and always so pleasant & enjoyable to be with. Adam our captain and master what surprised us most on the water helps you handle everything so efficiently and with a smile. We wish you all much success in the future.

Thank you for an amazing tour of the BVIs. The meals were awesome, the beaches, bars, and caves fun and birthday celebrations perfect. We hope to see you again!

We all had such a great time on Ruby One Adam as a captain and mate was very knowledgeable about all the islands and Mel was an amazing chef. They were both very professional and a pleasure to be around. I had to fly out for a couple of days and Adam was a big help solving logistical problems. We would highly recommend this boat and crew! We will for sure do this again, thanks for the memories.
