Yacht Description
BLUE GRIFFIN – WINTER yacht is a 62.00 ft long sailboat catamaran and spends the summer season in Central America, South Pacific, French Polynesia, Costa Rica and winter season in Caribbean Leewards, Caribbean Windwards. It was built by Lagoon in 2011. A refit was done in 2019. The yacht layout features 4 cabins and accommodates 8 guests. The cabin arrangement is following: 4 double cabins.
The sailboat features 2 Volvo Penta D3-110 (2x 110 hp) Onan Generator 17 Kw 2 Icemaker (Watermaker) 430 l/h e 150l/h engines and a generator.
Accommodation
In the starboard hull there are three generous double suites; the aft and amidships cabins are slightly larger, but all benefit from ensuite bathroom facilities. Price Terms
Plus Expenses - add APA to the price you see
Plus Expenses arrangement includes the boat and crew only (without tip).
All additional/variable expenses such as Gas and Food are deducted from an Advance Provisioning Allowance (APA) - an additional deposit that is added on top of the charter price.
The expenses, such as provisioning, fuel, marina fees, are deducted from the APA. The APA is based on the price of the yacht and ranges from 15% (crewed sailing yachts) to 30% (motor yachts with higher fuel consumption).
For a sailing catamaran like BLUE GRIFFIN – WINTER, the expected APA is 20% to 35% of the charter price ($7,000 - $12,250), making the charter cost $42,000 to $47,250. Exact amount will be confirmed after inquiry.
You can actively control these expenses in your preference sheet (local vs. imported beverages) and by choice of itinerary (distances traveled).
The remainder of the APA is returned after charter.

The Captain, Alberto Moussa has been sailing since 2010 in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean aboard sailing and motor yachts and has spent the last 11 years on charter yachts.
He speaks Italian, French, English and Spanish.
A lover of sailing since he was a child, he soon devoted himself to sailing. Since the age of 19 he has lived on board boats all year round. Already Skipper and Instructor at historic Italian sailing schools, in 2016 he founded a sailing school that still exists today.
He also participated in offshore and ocean racing.
He is an expert and technician at shipyards, he is a maintenance technician and passionate about long navigations.
