WHO IS CJ?

C.J.’s connection to the ocean began in Southern Africa, where he grew up exploring kelp forests before starting his career as a dive instructor and underwater photographer. With thousands of dives and even a documentary to his name, he developed a deep respect for the sea and a passion for sharing it with others.

His journey took him to prestigious superyachts and later to captaining award-winning charter catamarans across the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Southeast Asia, Fiji, and French Polynesia. From transoceanic crossings and remote surf breaks to diving with manta rays, tiger sharks, and beyond, he has built exceptional knowledge of hidden destinations and the unique adventures they offer.

Now, as a charter broker with DMA Yachting, C.J. draws on nearly two decades of experience at sea to guide his clients. Having lived the life of a captain, he knows what makes a charter truly exceptional and ensures every detail is seamless, safe, and unforgettable.
