Captain: Popi Tomazou

Captain Popi Tomazou
Born in 1981 in Greece she graduated in South Africa where she started working at restaurants manager as well as in London. In 2017 her passion for the sea and the Greek traditions becoming a sailing instructor, skipper and captain cruising in Mediterranean, France and Poland with numerous charters and happy guests! She has worked as a captain and co-captain on catamarans from 45 to 80 ft. She is an asset for our team as he is very loyal, active, friendly, and kind, always very excited to welcome guests onboard and offer the best experience onboard Azul! She is more than experienced in Ionian waters with excellent charter records! Some of her hobbies are walking, hiking, travelling and reading. She speaks Greek, English, Afrikaans, and basic German as well French.

Chef Antony Pazianas

Antony was born in 1989 and grew up spending a lot of time fishing and sailing with the family boat, but after all he found himself more into the culinary arts. He has graduated as a Chef from the Department of “Culinary Arts” (IEK Omiros, Greece). He began his career as a manager of the family restaurant business ensuring the high quality of the local ingredients. In addition, he has gained experience in the wider field of catering, developing skills in customer service as a bartender/barista and of course as a cook. His passion for sailing and cooking soon lead him to pursue a professional career as a Chef on private luxury cruises. He is holding sailing and power boat diploma and speaks Greek and English!


Steward Panagiotis Chourdakis
Panagiotis is born in magic Crete island and has worked in many restaurants over the year with experience in service. He had joined yachting a few years ago as deckhand and steward. After serving on multiple yachts from 42 to 67 feet, he found his way to our team, bringing his passion for hard work and skills on board. He is holding sailing and power boat diploma and speaks Greek and English!

We wished to have a relaxing vacation but in real terms we found a paradise not only because of the beautiful Greece but even more the people we found in! This boat made a perfect atmosphere for us thanks to the captain and the crew of Azul!
